The equipment and machinery involved in tire manufacturing plants relies on the ability to mix the different chemicals and minerals that make up a tire, which relies on flow control and pneumatic directional control devices. The curing press process relies on pressure and heat to mold and form the tire into a shape that has the desired tread pattern.
